You can also "Draw Manually & Use Laser" — take advantage of slick integration with Leica & Bosch laser measures to get precise measurements onto your plan in moments.

RoomScan Classic can scan building exteriors, yards and gardens too, with the ExteriorScan & PlotScan features.

Export, saving, sending and printing of your plans as standard image files is free. Unlock RoomScan Classic with an annual auto-renewable subscription for unlimited export in PDF, DXF, FLYPLAN®, 3D models and other formats. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Pros and cons of RoomScan Classic app for iPhone and iPad

RoomScan Classic app good for

As someone that constantly has to go to job sites without current floor plans, Roomscan has become such a time saver. What would take a couple hours to create a single room floor plan now takes minutes.

Takes a bit of getting used to choosing and identifying the right spots for measuring and finishing off a room, but once you get the hang of it correcting wall lengths and placing windows and doors is straightforward and makes adding rooms simple. Money well spent.

Id give it a 4 and half stars. It is surprisingly accurate after double checking everything with a tape measure. Came with in 10% or less error. Which could be user error. Its great for estimating and drawing out simple room plans.

Did my entire houses measurements and office, it was pretty accurate and saved time.

Not perfect, but does a decent job. Might need to do a few times per room to get it correct, but faster than by hand with rape measure.

I was skeptical at first, but very impressed with the results.

Some bad moments

It would be great if it worked, but it doesnt. The app gives you measurements totally wrong.

Do not give your money to it. This is horrible and doesnt works. It cant measure a simple room of 3x3m. Its a waste of money. Ridiculous, I want my money back.

The tutorial video is really nice but nothing works as it should! What a shame!

Its ok if you want to measure a perfect square room, but as soon as it becomes more complex it does not work at all. Save yourself the money until technology catches up

Seems like a great idea, but simply does not work. 4 out of 5 attempts to scan a room failed, and the completed scan did not resemble the room scanned. Save your money and buy a tape measure and pencil.

The first space I tried was quite complicated but the rooms were empty. So I thought it might be possible. Wrong the floor plan looked like a 3 year old did a drawing of a shoelace. The second space was quite simple but I had to walk around a reception desk so the app could not attach the lines and left my last attempt unmeasurable. Not worth the upgrade for me but I hope you have better luck
